Why aren’t Pxy under 1 ICP?
We’re locking away 90% of sales revenue for 8 years! If we sold any cheaper, the staking rewards will shrink! Remaining 10% will fund operational costs, such as marketplace fees.
Pxy Staking + Roadmap:
Building the Staking Website is our next priority. We’ll continue re-staking the 8 year neuron that will reward Pxy staking, which means the neuron will grow as we build, ensuring you a higher reward than had the website been ready at mint.
The longer we take to build, bigger your staking reward will grow. Bitter sweet trade off? We think so!
How long will it take? About 3 months, we expect. However, we may finish sooner or later than that. No promises on time. Be patient as the staking neuron grows — our project is here for the long haul.
Once the website is complete, Batch 1 Pxy can stake. At this stage we expect market dynamics to change. i.e. The more Pxy listed on the marketplace means higher rewards for those who stake.
Once things settle in, expect Batch 2 mint will take place, selling another 1500 Pxy frens. Mint Price for Batch 2 may increase, unless you hold a Batch 1 Pxy. Mint price for Batch 1 holders will either remain the same as first mint, or offered at a discounted rate. Sales proceeds from second mint will also be locked away (details to be determined at a later date).
